McDonald's: developing a mobile advertising model to support new restaurant openings.

While working with Trinity Mirror Plc to assit them in developing their client innovations proposition, Bill devised an innovative digital advertising campaign for McDonald's to support the launch of their new state-of-the-art restaurant at Silverburn Shopping Centre, Glasgow.

Using mobile GPS and app technology, the campaign delivered mobile overlay advertisements and push notifications to a geo-demographic target audience within a defined radius of the restaurant.

The campaign out-performed industry standard response rates by over 100% and has led to McDonald's incorporating this activity into their new restaurant openings promotion programme.
